The American Mint is replacing the one-dollar bill with the coin. Each year, from 2007 to 2016, on a quarterly basis, four wonderful coins will be issued, each dedicated to a USA President. The coins will be minted by Denver (D) and Philadelphia (P) Mints. The serie was opened on the 15th
February 2007 with the first American President, George Washington. This one-dollar golden coin, like all the following, represents the image of the President and his term of office on the face and the traditional inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM and IN GOD WE TRUST on the fringe. On the back instead, there are the Statue of Liberty and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and $1.
